In this tutorial, I’ll show you the exact workflow we used to turn a fictional luxury perfume concept into a short vertical product ad with Higgsfield AI.
The goal was simple: start with product visuals, use ChatGPT to structure the prompt, then generate a polished 9:16 luxury ad inside Higgsfield.

What We Created
For the test, we created a fictional perfume brand called VELORA NOIR. The visual direction was intentionally simple: a black glass perfume bottle, subtle gold details, a dark luxury mood, warm rim lighting, reflections, and drifting smoke.
The final goal was a short social-media ad suitable for Reels, Shorts, and Pinterest video.
Two Ways to Add a Product in Higgsfield
Method 1: Use a Website or Product URL
Marketing Studio can accept supported website or product-page links. This can be the fastest route when your product already has a public page.
In our test, we first tried the temporary Hostinger page created for VELORA NOIR. Higgsfield returned an “Invalid product URL” message, so we moved to the second method.
Method 2: Upload Product Images Manually
We uploaded the VELORA product images manually and created the product inside Marketing Studio. This gave us direct control over which bottle image would be used as the main reference.
For this particular experiment, manual upload was the more reliable option.
Step 1: Choose the Product Image
We selected the cleanest VELORA NOIR bottle image—the one where the bottle remained easy to recognize against a dark background.
When you choose a reference image for a product ad, prioritize a clear product silhouette, readable branding where possible, and enough separation between the product and background.
Step 2: Ask ChatGPT to Structure the Video Prompt
Instead of writing a vague prompt such as “make a luxury perfume ad,” we described the visual role of the product, lighting, movement, mood, and what should be avoided.
Exact prompt used:
Create a premium cinematic luxury perfume commercial for VELORA NOIR. Keep the black glass perfume bottle as the hero product and preserve its original design and label. Use a deep black background, warm golden rim lighting, elegant reflections, subtle drifting smoke, macro close-ups, slow cinematic camera movement and sophisticated luxury fragrance advertising aesthetics. Add subtle visual hints of bergamot, amber and sandalwood. No people, no hands, no presenter, no dialogue, no generic ecommerce look. Make the first second visually striking and finish with a clean hero shot of the VELORA NOIR bottle.
Step 3: Set Up the Higgsfield Video
For the first test, we used:
- Style: Dark Minimalism
- Aspect ratio: 9:16
- Duration: 5 seconds
- Input: VELORA NOIR product image
The 9:16 format was intentional because we wanted the result to be usable in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and Pinterest video.
Step 4: Generate the Ad
After the product, prompt, style, and aspect ratio were ready, we generated the video.
The result preserved the dark luxury atmosphere, kept the bottle as the central subject, and added smoke, reflections, and slow cinematic motion. For a first test, it was strong enough to use as the “wow” moment in a short educational social video.
How to Turn This Into an Educational Reel or Short
Instead of showing only the final result, we recommend showing the workflow:
- Show the original product visual.
- Show the two input options: website URL or manual product images.
- Show ChatGPT helping write the prompt.
- Show the Higgsfield style and 9:16 settings.
- Reveal the final video.
A strong hook for this format is:
I gave Higgsfield one product image… and this happened.
This makes the content both a showcase and a tutorial.
What We Learned From This Test
The most useful lesson was not that one input method is always better. It was that having both options matters. URL import can be faster when it works, while manual upload gives you more control and can be a good fallback when a page is not accepted.
We also found that the prompt should describe the product’s role, lighting, camera feel, mood, and exclusions—not just the subject itself.
